Ashley designed the logo (and website) for Unearthed Psychotherapy, a virtual practice based in Austin, Texas and owned by Courtney Garcia Puckett, LPC-A.

Courtney offers culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, individual therapy. She wanted a design to represent the work she does with generational trauma while also representing her culture.

The final result is a beautiful, bright marigold, which has long been used in Mexican culture to symbolize one’s ancestors and the connection to them. Marigold flowers and petals are used during Día de Muertos to guide the souls of the ancestors home; a truly beautiful belief and tradition.
